On 25 May 2018, the new European Data Protection Regulation, GDPR was implemented.
GDPR gives EU citizens greater control over their personal data and guarantees for the secure protection of information.
Proxio Systems is continuously working to ensure that the basic purpose of GDPR and as part of this we have developed the following privacy policy
What is personal data and what is processing of personal data?
Personal data is all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to other information, can be connected to a living natural person. This means that different types of tasks such as names and contact details, IP addresses, contest entries, made choices and behaviors constitute personal data.
Processing of personal data is all that happens with personal data. Any action taken with personal data is processing, regardless of whether it is performed automated or not, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing or modification, production, reading, use, transfer by transmission, dissemination or provision otherwise, adjustment or assembly, restriction, erasure or destruction.
What information is collected?
When you use our software and digital services or communicate with us in our digital channels, we may collect information about you, such as, for example, name, address, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, identification information, and information about your use of Proxio Systems services and products.
In addition, Proxio Systems may collect technical data about the devices you use to access our software, including IP address, unique device ID, browser type, and cookie information. The collection can, for example, go to enter your personal information when entering license information in a form in the application or on a web page
For what purpose are personal data processed?
- In order for us to provide the products and services you ordered and administer our agreement.
- In order for us to communicate with you by contacting customer service, email forms and in our social media accounts.
- For promotional purposes, including mail marketing, emails which you can unsubscribe via a link in each mailing.
- To analyze and group visitors by selection, prioritization and preferences, which means that a so-called profiling is done, in order to provide you with relevant information.
- To get statistics about the use of our software and digital services.
- In order to maintain, develop, test and improve our software and digital services and the technical platforms on which they are provided.
Legal basis and legitimate interests for personal data processing
Proxio Systems processes your personal information in accordance with applicable law. In order for our processing of personal data to be legal, it is required that it is necessary
- to fulfill the agreement with the customer; or
- to fulfill a Proxio Systems legal obligation.
The processing of personal data may also be done
- after a balance of interest; or
- after consent has been given for that particular treatment.
Security for the protection of personal data
Proxio Systems seeks maximum security for your personal data and takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect them from unauthorized access, modification, dissemination or destruction.
How long we save data
We never save data longer than we need. Some data are deleted immediately, others are saved for a long time depending on the data to be used.
Customer information is retained as long as the customer relationship is in progress and thereafter no later than 12 months after the termination of the contract. Exceptions apply to such documents that must be stored by law, such as the Accounting Act.
Traffic information is saved for billing purposes. In the case of unpaid invoices, the data is saved until the claim is paid.
We also save traffic information to help the customer / user if something is wrong with the services we deliver. These data are stored no later than 12 months after the termination of the contract.
Restrictions on disclosure of personal data
Proxio Systems will NOT disclose personal data to third parties, except for the police or other authorities, in the case of criminal investigations or otherwise we are required to provide such information on the basis of law or authority decision.
Right to information and right to complaint
You are entitled to request access to the personal data processed by you at any time, to get incorrect personal information corrected, that Proxio Systems will stop processing and deleting your personal data, limiting the processing of your personal data, exercising your right to data portability, as well as objecting to the processing of personal data. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority at any time if you believe that your personal information is incorrectly processed.

Proxio Systems may, from time to time, make changes to this privacy policy. The latest version of the privacy policy is always available on Proxios website.
